Community Events

At Marin Sanitary Service, we believe education is one of the best ways to build a more sustainable community. Throughout the year, we host free community events that give residents a chance to explore our facilities, learn how recycling and composting work in Marin County, meet our team, and connect with local organizations making a difference.

Whether you’re joining us for our annual Customer Appreciation Day, attending one of our Community Tours, or browsing highlights from past events, we invite you to discover how we’re working Better Together to keep Marin County clean.

Looking for a school or group tour? Visit our Tours page to schedule an educational visit to our San Rafael facility.
