CBS News Spotlights Recycled Orchestra at Customer Appreciation Day

The Recycled Orchestra at MSS CAD 25

At our 10th Annual Customer Appreciation Day we had the honor of hosting the world-renowned Recycled Orchestra of Cateura, whose talented young musicians from Paraguay play instruments crafted entirely from landfill materials, turning discarded items into works of art. Their powerful performance—on saxophones born from water pipes, violins made of paint cans, and more—embodied our mission: to reduce waste and inspire creative ways to reuse what might otherwise be thrown away.

This year our Customer Appreciation Day brought together over 700 attendees to celebrate sustainability. From dancing along with the incredible Recycled Orchestra of Cateura to touring our recycling facility (with more than 150 people taking part), you helped make this event a true celebration of sustainability. Plus, 249 customers picked up compost and 165 brought documents to shred!

Check out photos and highlights from this unforgettable day.

We’re so grateful to our customers, partners, and neighbors for making this day such a success.
